Privacy policy
The K-Beauty Review (“we”) is published by Likeway Co., Ltd., 31 Teheran-ro 19-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 06131, Republic of Korea. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and our email newsletter.
What we collect
When you visit the site. Our hosting provider and analytics collect standard server data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use this to keep the site running, understand which articles are read, and detect abuse.
When you subscribe to the newsletter or take the skin-type quiz. We collect your email address and, if you choose to provide them, your skin type, main skin concern and country. We use country to tell you whether a product ships to you, and skin type to choose which articles to recommend. You can leave these blank.
When you contact us. We keep the email you send and our reply.
Cookies. We use cookies for analytics and, where advertising is shown, for advertising. See “Advertising” below.

We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising
We may use Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Readers in the EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland will be shown a consent message before advertising cookies are set.
Newsletter provider
Our newsletter is sent through Beehiiv. Your email address and the preferences you give us are stored with them and processed under their privacy policy. Each email contains an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing removes you from all future mailings. We also keep a copy of our subscriber list in our own systems so that we are not dependent on a single provider; that copy is deleted when you unsubscribe.
Analytics
We use our hosting provider’s built-in statistics to measure site traffic. Where we use Google Analytics, IP addresses are anonymised.
Affiliate links
When you click a retailer link, that retailer may set a cookie to attribute a purchase to us. Their collection is governed by their own privacy policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email blue@likeway.co.kr. We respond within 30 days. Residents of the EU/EEA and UK may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. California residents may request disclosure of the categories of information we collect and may opt out of “sales” as defined by the CCPA; we do not sell personal information.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Retention
Server logs are kept for up to 90 days. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Contact emails are kept for two years.
Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the date below. Material changes to how we use newsletter data will be announced by email.
